Revival Series
Traditional in both design and aesthetic, Revival Series guitars capture the essence of legendary “pre-war” guitars. Timeless form, vintage aesthetics and “pre-war” X-bracing meet with Breedlove Craftsmanship in an American-made, hand-built guitar that represents a new benchmark for performance and value.
Revival Instrument Models
Breedlove Revival Series instruments are available in four basic body shapes - OM (Orchestra Model), OMC (Orchestra Model with cutaway), 000 (a 000-sized instrument with 12 frets to the body) and D (dreadnought). We also offer a Tenor guitar, with an OM body shape and of course a narrower neck.
To designate a particular Revival instrument, you need to know body shape/style (OM, OMC, 000, Tenor or D as above), appointment level (Standard or Deluxe) and back wood (Mahogany and Rosewood are standard options, but you can customize a Revival guitar to suit your needs). For instance, a Revival D-R Deluxe is a Revival dreadnought with Deluxe appointments and a Rosewood back. A Revival 000-M is a 000-12 fret with standard appointments and a Mahogany back. Custom Revival guitars are simply referred to as Revival 'OM Custom', 'D Custom', etc., with exact specifications as noted on your custom shop worksheet.

Breedlove Revival acoustic guitars feature forward X bracing and a graduated top thickness. Revival tops are thicker in the middle and thinner toward the perimeter, delivering a tone that is powerful and explosive and also very balanced. Revival Deluxe guitars are fitted with Red Spruce tops and Red Spruce bracing, a bone nut and saddle and are finished in a high gloss. Revival Standard guitars have Sitka Spruce tops, a Tusq nut and saddle and a semi-gloss finish. |
